This silk was never meant to be rushed.

Morning Rose is the colour of first light slipping through half-open curtains — that moment before the day decides what it will become. A soft blush, barely there, made into the softest silk.

The fabric comes from a prestigious Italian designer house, commissioned for pieces that were meant to be fleeting. We rescued it instead, and in our London studio we made it into something that lasts.

It is light, fluid, and quietly strong. Worn loose over bare skin, a tank, or a fine knit, it moves when you move — never clinging, never demanding.

This is not a blouse. It is a pause.

Through a family connection we were allowed inside the mill and granted access to this extraordinary silk to create a very small number of oversized shirts in our London studio.

Morning Rose is the colour of Liguria at first light — when the stone villages blush softly and the sea is still half-asleep. It doesn’t announce itself. It lingers.

These shirts are not blouses. They are companions.

This fabric is no longer being made. When these are gone, they are gone.

In Recco, the Ligurian town where my family comes from, there is a small mill that learned how to make silk behave like cotton. This extraordinary matte silk was originally developed for Armani — not to shine, but to live. It is quietly luxurious and you feel it when you wear it.

Through a family connection, we were allowed into the mill to commission a final run of this fabric before it was discontinued.

This shirt is made from that silk.

It does not cling.
It does not perform.
It simply rests on the body — light, fluid, reassuring.

Ice Mint is the colour of the Ligurian sea when the heat breaks: pale green, cool air, everything exhaling at once.

These are not seasonal blouses.
They are pieces you keep — and notice getting better.

Yes, it is dry-clean only — not because it is fragile, but because it is honest silk, and silk asks to be respected.

When this fabric is gone, it will not be remade.

In boutiques this fabric appears in pieces priced well over £500. Here it exists quietly — because it was never made for spectacle.
